Self-awareness raises only by mentally transcending the dualistic illusion into non-dualistic reality.+

Look into the nature of the universe. And you will be able to see that universe by its very nature is illusory. The moment you realize that the universe is illusory, ignorance disappears and Self-awareness arises. Self-awareness is the state of non-dual reality. That is the state of Advaita.

Self-awareness raises only by mentally transcending the dualistic illusion into non-dualistic reality.

Everybody has his own imagination about facts and starts from that, instead of discarding his personal idea and looking at the fact.

Upanishads:~ Fools dwelling in darkness, but thinking they wise and erudite, go round and round, by various tortuous paths, like the blind led by the blind. (Upanishads Nikilanada - Ch II-5 P-14)

You along with all the thoughts and words and the world in which you exist are nothing but an illusion created out of a single clay. that single clay is consciousness.
When you reduce yourself along with your thoughts, world, and the world in which you exist into single clay the truth hidden by ignorance is grained.
Manduka Upanishads shows how one opinion may be used to contradict another, so that both may be thrown away. Opinions are not for seeking the truth.
Ashtavakra says:~ opinions are merely thought not the truth
Manduka Upanishad is not meant for all, as it is based entirely on reasoning. Hence, but only a few will be able to understand and assimilate it.
Remember:~
The Atmic path is not a question and answers session it is a path of discovering and realizing the 'Self' hidden by the world in which you exist. The world in which you exist is created out of single stuff. That single stuff is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Do not hold your accumulated knowledge as a yardstick. Your opinion may be correct on your own point of view by it is nothing to do with the Advaitic wisdom.
When you will start thinking independently then the inner revelation will start clearing all the obstacles which were blocking your realization. Deeper thinking and reasoning are very much needed in pursuit of truth.
Bhagavad Gita: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).
When Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material then nothing has to be accepted as Brahman (Truth) other than consciousness.
The world in which we exist is nothing but an illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
The whole universe is nothing but the Soul. Therefore, there is no second thing that exists other than the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
It is not as if something that was not consciousness suddenly becomes consciousness. Rather, "knowing the truth” means a removal of the ignorance about one's own existence as the consciousness. Thus, to "know the truth” is to "be the consciousness." : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
