Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara is the mother of the science because it unfolds the mystery of the universe.+

Sage Sankara as a rationalist thinker, in contrast to the more traditional image of him as a theologian. Sage Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom is not a philosopher dish cooked to suit exclusively the palate of the religion. It is like the air and the water, the common food for the whole of humanity. It is "Science of Truth," If rightly interpreted Sage Sankara’s wisdom as food for the whole of humanity, the universal wisdom par excellence.  it is nothing to do with religion and yoga philosophy, but it is the Science of Truth. It is as wide and deep as the ocean which contains virtually all the water of the world and in which all particular forms ultimately dissolve.

The Advaitic teachings that are being followed by people are not the real Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara. Many Advaitic Gurus of the east and west have altered his words, added their own teachings based on imagination, and spoiled it.

Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara has been lost because orthodoxy projected him as the founder of their sect. All the Gurus of the past and present misinterpret and falsify. Sage Sankara's wisdom is nothing to do with any religion and yoga. Sage Sankara's Advaitic wisdom is the science of the Spirit (Soul or consciousness).

The Spirit is the root element of the universe. The Spirit is present in the form of the Soul, the Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. From the Spirit, the universe comes into existence. In the Spirit, the universe resides. And into the Spirit, the universe is dissolved. The Spirit is the parent of all that is there is.

The Advaitic wisdom of
Sage Sankara is the mother of science because it unfolds the mystery of the universe. But nobody knows it. People do not want to inquire into the truth and have no time for it. Sage Sankara was the first sage Scientist who unfolded the mystery of the universe 1200 years back.

Advaitic wisdom of
Sage Sankara is the most rational and scientific and universal truth. Imparting the Advaitic wisdom to the unprepared mind sent would be ‘equivalent to giving sermons to the stone statues.

The universe is verily consciousness. Without realizing ‘what is the Mind?- it is impossible to get Self- realization. The universe is not different from the Mind because the universe is the mind itself. The mind is not different from the Soul because the mind is the dualistic illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Thus, the universe is nothing but consciousness. The universe is unreal because it is not absolute and eternal like consciousness.

Until you hold you and the world in which you exist as a reality you will not be able to realize the ‘Self’ hidden by you and the world in which you exist.

The world in which you exist hides the truth of the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness.

That is why Sage Sankara says:~ VC-65. As a treasure hidden underground requires (for its extraction) competent instruction, excavation, the removal of stones and other such things lying above it and (finally) grasping, but never comes out by being (merely) called out by name, so the transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by Maya and its effects, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, followed by reflection, meditation and so forth, but not through perverse arguments.

People refuse to accept anything other than their inherited religious beliefs. For them, their religious beliefs are the ultimate truth. They do not accept anything else other than their accepted truth. There is no need to convince such a mindset.

Such a mindset is not fit to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. The seekers of truth accept only the truth nothing but the uncontradictable truth.

In fact, Sage Sankara states a paradox- the world is and is not. It is neither real nor unreal. It leads us to recognize the existence of Maya (illusion). He thinks that the world is illusory from one perspective and from the second it is nothing but Brahman(God), Itself in manifestation. This apparent world is Maya and has its basis in Brahman, the Eternal. It looks real. It has names and forms and actually, it is not real In the light of true knowledge, it disappears and Self-alone shines as real. However, Sage Sankara's Mayavada has not been accepted by many preachers and philosophers.

When Sage Sankara says clearly, the universe is not real. He says that Brahman and Atman are one. The ultimate and the Absolute Truth is the Self, which is one though appearing as many in different individuals. The individual has no reality. Only the Soul, the innermost  Self is Real; the rest, mental and physical are but passing appearances, then it indicates the form (waking or duality or mind) is unreal and the formless soul (consciousness or Soul) is real.  Therefore, only Atman is real because there is no second thing that exists other than Atman, which is in the form of consciousness.

Sage  Sankara: ~ “All this universe which through ignorance appears as of diverse forms, is nothing else but Brahman (Consciousness) which is absolutely free from all the limitations of human thought.

The universe is the product of ignorance. The ignorance is present in the form of the ‘I’.

Sage Sankara says: -
VC-47 All the effects of ignorance, root, and branch, are burnt down by the fire of knowledge, which arises from discrimination between these two—the Self and the non-Self.

Until you think you are an individual separate from the world and the world that existed prior to you and you are born in it afterward the ignorance will prevail as a reality. Till ignorance is there the universe prevails as reality.

Sage Sankara says:~ “The exercise in discrimination between real and unreal and renunciation of the false is real meditation, then why you are indulging in other types of meditation.

Perfect understanding and realization of ‘what is what’ leads to Self-awareness. By holding onto theories one remains in the realm of duality. You have to mentally go on dropping what is not the truth through deeper Self-search.

Finally when you become aware of the fact that, your ego, your body, and the world are one in essence then there is Self-awareness in the midst of duality. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
