All the religious scriptures and holy books are irrelevant -- God's greatest book is just in front of you.+

The universe is veryily consciousness because the universe is an illusion created out of consciousness.  All the religious scriptures and holy books are irrelevant -- God's greatest book is just in front of you.

That is why Sage Sankara says you must first know what is before you. If you cannot know that, what else can you know or understand? If you give up the external world in your inquiry, you cannot get the whole truth.

You have to study the book of the universe carefully and find and realize God is hidden in it.
All religions claim that their books are not man-made? Hindus claim that the Vedas are Aporsheya: not made by man but revealed by God himself; and Sanskrit is the divine language, not human.
All religions have the same type of claim. Muslims say the Koran has descended from God, and so with Jews and Christians. Everybody is trying to claim that their book is a sacred book and nobody bothers to look at the real divine book.
This is what the real Veda, the real Koran, the real Bible is. This is the book, and all other books are man-made. Only this universe is the book that is authored by God because God is hidden by the universe.
The universe is the real Veda, the real Koran, the real Bible is.  The universe is the book, and all other books are man-made.
Only when you open the book of the universe the God hidden in the book will be revealed.  When you finish reading the book of the universe then the universe will become an illusion and God alone prevails as the ultimate reality.
Sage Sankara says: ~ “What is accepted without a proper inquiry will not lead a person to the final goal. On the contrary, such acceptance will result only in evil, something which is detrimental to our spiritual progress.
You are also part of the divine book of the universe! And whatever you have seen, known, believed, and experienced as an individual is part of it.
Remember:~
Without realizing ‘what is the Mind?  it impossible to get Self- realization.  The universe is not different from the Mind because the universe is the mind itself.  The mind is not different from the Soul because the mind is the dualistic illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Thus, the universe is nothing but consciousness. The universe is unreal because it is not absolute and eternal like consciousness.

Until you hold yourself and the world in which you exist as a reality you will not be able to realize the ‘Self’ hidden by you and the world in which you exist.
The world in which you exist hides the truth of the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness.
That is why Sage Sankara says: - VC-65. As a treasure hidden underground requires (for its extraction) competent instruction, excavation, the removal of stones and other such things lying above it, and (finally) grasping, but never comes out by being (merely) called out by name, so the transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by Maya and its effects, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, followed by reflection, meditation and so forth, but not through perverted arguments.
People refuse to accept anything other than their inherited religious beliefs. For them, their religious beliefs are the ultimate truth. They do not accept anything else other than their accepted truth. There is no need to convince such a mindset.
Such a mindset is not fit to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. The seekers of truth accept only the truth nothing but the uncontradictable truth.
Sage Sankara: ~ “VC~ All this universe which through ignorance appears as of diverse forms, is nothing else but Brahman (Consciousness) which is absolutely free from all the limitations of human thought.
The universe is the product of ignorance. Ignorance is present in the form of the ‘I’.
Sage Sankara says:~ VC-47-  All the effects of ignorance, root, and branch, are burnt down by the fire of knowledge, which arises from discrimination between these two—the Self and the non-Self.
Until you think you are an individual separate from the world and the world existed prior to you and you are born in it afterward ignorance will prevail as a reality. Till ignorance is there the universe prevails as reality.
Sage Sankara says: ~ “The exercise in discrimination between real and unreal and renunciation of the false is real meditation, then why you are indulging in other types of meditation.
Perfect understanding and realization of ‘what is what’ leads to Self-awareness. By holding onto theories one remains in the realm of duality. You have to mentally go on dropping what is not the truth through deeper Self-search.
Finally when you become aware of the fact that, your ego, your body, and the world are one in essence then there is Self-awareness in the midst of dualistic illusion or Maya. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

The ‘I’ is not limited to an individual. Realize the ‘I’ is the whole universe. Without the ‘I’ the universe ceases to exist.+

The ‘I’ is not limited to an individual. Realize the ‘I’ is the whole universe. Without the ‘I’ the universe ceases to exist. Until you limit the ‘I’ to you, you will never be able to realize the ‘Self’ hidden by the ‘I’.

The mind is not within the physical body because the mind is the whole universe. People wrongly identify the ego as the mind.

The ‘I’ appears along with the universe and disappears along with the universe, therefore, the ‘I’ itself is the universe.

You appear along with the universe and disappear along with the universe. Without the universe, you cease to exist.

The ignorance is present in the form of the ‘I’. The ‘I’ is present in the form of the mind. The mind is present in the form of the dualistic illusion (Maya). The dualistic illusion is present in the form of the universe. The universe appears as waking or dream and waking or dream (duality) disappears as deep sleep (nonduality).

‘I’ itself is ignorance.

‘I’ itself is mind.

‘I’ itself is the dualistic illusion.

‘I’ itself is the universe.

‘I’ itself is waking or dream.

‘I’ itself is form, time, and space together.

But remember:~

Without the ‘’I’ there is no ignorance.

Without the ‘I’ there is no mind.

Without the ‘I’ there is no dualistic illusion.

Without the ‘I’ there is no universe.

Without the ‘I’ there is waking or dream.

Without the ‘I’ there is no form, time, and space.

That is why Bhagavad Gita: ~ ‘The permanent (consciousness) is always there, only the transient ‘I’ comes and goes. (2.18)

The ‘I’ hides the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Bhagavad Gita: ~ “You must first see the ‘I’ as illusory before you see others as illusory. ~ CH.2 v.16

First, you must make sure the ‘I’ itself is illusory because the ‘I’ is not permanent.

The seeker has to find for himself the truth of his true existence and come to a fuller and deeper understanding and realization of the truth, which is hidden by the illusory form, time, and space.

Because of ignorance, the universe arises. The universe is a dualistic illusion. Without ignorance, the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness alone shines as the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

Bhagavad Gita says: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God in truth) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).

Consciousness is God in truth. God in truth is Self-evident. It is not established by extraneous proofs. It is not possible to deny God in truth because God in truth is the very essence of the one who denies God in truth. God is the basis of all kinds of knowledge, presuppositions, and proofs.

The emptiness is the nature of the Soul, the Self. Emptiness means the Soul, the Self is empty of ignorance.

Mystics see visions of Gods and Goddesses and adepts according to their own inherited conditioning.+

Mystics see visions of Gods and Goddesses and adepts according to their own inherited conditioning.

The seeker of truth should not start with the idea of God. The seeker does not know whether there is God or not. There is no proof. The seeker needs proof of God's existence.

One need not doubt that people saw Shiva, Jesus, etc. That they saw visions may be an undeniable fact. But the question is “Was what they saw the Truth?" They no doubt had such visions but they never stopped to inquire if their visions were true.

After years of effort glorifying Christ when Christian closes his eyes and Christ comes to him.

After years of effort glorifying Krishna when a Hindu closes his eyes and Krishna comes to him.

After years of effort glorifying  Buddha when a Buddhist closes his eyes and Buddha comes to him.

After years of effort glorifying vMahavira when a Jain closes his eyes and Mahavira comes to him.

Christ doesn’t come to a Hindu; Mahavira doesn’t come as a Christian. Buddha doesn’t come to a Jain: only the image projected in the subconscious will come. The image became almost solid. It became so real from constant repetition, from continuous remembering, that it seemed the projected deity was standing in from of him. No one was standing there.

Wherever is projected is merely an illusion created out of the consciousness. Any experience is possible only within the domain of form, time, and space. Whatever belongs to the form, time and space is merely an illusion. The illusion is created out of single stuff and that single stuff is consciousness. The knowledge of the single stuff is Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

In reality, consciousness alone exists without the division of form, time, and space. There is no second here, no other. From the standpoint of the Soul, the form, time, and space are merely an illusion.

The seeker has to take all the facts, and then proceed to examine and analyze, how far is it true?”

To talk of seeking God is as meaningless as saying "seeking dog". It is only a hollow word,.one must know God in truth.

Dualist Gurus say: ~ God cannot exist without attributes. Then they are making God as an object whereas God is the subject. Attributes can only be seen in the objective world. Causality appears in the duality, but when one goes deeper into the matter even there the causality disappears

Who else but the ‘Self’ could have imagined the objective world? Ramanuja and Madva see God as the imaginer, but where is the proof. Nobody has seen God creating.

You have seen no other creator, whether God or angel. The only ‘Self’ is left. Therefore ‘Self’ is the creator because imagining means creating. The Dvaita and Religionists talk nonsense. Has God meaning to you? Yes. It is an idea. What is an idea? The idea is an imagination. So God has no proved existence beyond that of an idea.

Brihadaranyaka Upanishad:~ "He who worships the deities as entities entirely separate from the 'Self' does not know the truth. For the Gods, he is like a pasu (beast)". (1. 4. 10)

Bhagavad Gita: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God in truth) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).

When Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness.

Lord Krishna says Ch ~V: ~ “Those who know the 'Self' in truth.". The last two words (tattvataha) are usually ignored by pundits, but they make all the difference between the ordinary concept of God and the truth about God.

The Vedas confirm God is Atman (Spirit), the Self.

Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman, the Self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)

The Vedas talk about Brahman (GOD IN TRUTH) which refers to the ultimate truth or ultimate reality. The consciousness is the ultimate truth, therefore, the consciousness is Brahman and Brahman is God.

Vedas do not permit idol worship. All the idols are of the Puranic Gods Priests are referring to the Puranic Brahma as God they are ignorant of the God in Vedas even though they speak of Vedas.

Priests do not understand the meaning of the Brahman, which is present in the form of consciousness.

The dualistic worship of "God” is only for the ignorant populace. The God in truth is only Atman, the  Self. In reality, there is no duality, with no differentiation. Only Atman the real exists. :~Santthosh Kumaar

Remember you are a truth seeker you will not accept anything other than the ultimate truth.+

Remember you are a truth seeker you will not accept anything other than the ultimate truth. By visiting the Ashram, ignorance will not vanish.
By glorifying the Guru or surrendering to the Guru you will not get Advaitic Gnana. All religious and yogic paths are meant for the ignorant crowd, not for those who are searching for the truth of their true existence.
By practicing kundalini you will remain in ignorance permanently. Meeting holy people you will not get the grace.
Sage Sankara himself said: ~ A Gnani "bears no outward mark of a holy man" (Stanza 539).
Sage Sankara: ~ "Though I wear these robes of a Sanyasin, it is only for the sake of bread."
So he wore a Guru's robe only for the sake of the ignorant. So he was identified as a Guru with parampara by religious people.
For the truth seekers, Sage Sankara is a Brahma Gnani.
Thus, it proves that the religious gurus and yogis are not Gnanis because they identified themselves as holy people.
Tripura Rahasya: ~ Second-hand knowledge of the Self-gathered from books or Gurus can never emancipate a man until its truth is rightly investigated and applied; only direct realization will do that. Realize yourself, turning the mind inward. (18: 89)
By observing nature you will not find the truth you are seeking but by realizing the unreal nature of the universe the truth you are seeking will be revealed on its own.
Chandogya Upanishads: ~ “This universe comes forth from Brahman and will return to Brahman. Verily, all is Brahman. A person is what his deep desire is. It is our deepest desire in this life that shapes the life to come. So let us direct our deepest desires to realize the Self.
Ashtavakra Gita: ~ “The universe rises from the Soul, the innermost Self like bubbles from the sea. Thus know the ‘Self’ to be One and in this way enter into the state of dissolution."
Sage Sankara said: ~A.A~ 88. When the whole universe, movable and immovable, is known to be Atman (consciousness), and thus the existence of everything else is negated, where is then any room to say that the body is Atman?
The ‘Self’ is not the mind. The mind is present in the form of not the world in which we exist. The world appears as waking or dream (duality) and disappears as deep sleep (non-duality). The ‘Self’ is the Soul. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. The consciousness pervades everything and everywhere in all three states. Thus, diversity is created out of single stuff. That stuff is consciousness.
Consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman because there is no second thing that exists other than consciousness. From the standpoint of the Soul, the form, time, and space are one, in essence.
In Spirituality, God means the ultimate truth or Brahman. Self–realization is truth-realization. Truth-realization is God-realization.
Sage Sankara: ~VC~ if the universe is true, let it then be perceived in the state of deep sleep also. As it is not at all perceived, it must be unreal and false like dreams.
That is why Sage Sankara: ~ “Brahman is the truth The World is Unreal everything is Truly Brahman and nothing else has any value.
If you are seeking truth then do not waste time finding a Guru and becoming his slave. The Gurudom belongs to the religious and yogic path and it has nothing to do with the Advaitic path.

Upanishads:~ Fools dwelling in darkness, but thinking they wise and erudite, go round and round, by various tortuous paths, like the blind led by the blind. (Upanishads Nikilanada - Ch II-5 P-14)

There is no need for a Guru, to know you and your Guru and the world in which you exist are created out of single clay and that single clay is the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness. Knowledge of that single stuff is Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. Atma Gnana is given neither from outside nor from another person.
There is no need to follow anyone. There is no need to practice anything but perfect understanding and assimilation of ‘what is what’ leads to realizing the truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.
The Soul the ’Self’ reveals ‘what is real’ and ‘what is unreal” when the seeker is receptive and ready.
Sage Sankara says: ~ there is no need to study the Scriptures, to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman
~ then why indulge in studying the scriptures.

Sage Sankara says: ~ there is no need to study philosophy, to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman.
~then why indulge in studying philosophy.

Sage Sankara says: ~ there is no need to indulge in rituals, to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman
~then why indulge in rituals.
Sage Sankara says: ~ there is no need to indulge in yoga, to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman
~then why indulge in yoga.
Sage Sankara says the transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by the illusion, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, (Gnani)
~ then why you are sticking a Guru who is not a Gnani.
Sage Sankara says: ~ “The exercise in discrimination between real and unreal and renunciation of the false is real meditation, then why you are indulging in other types of meditation.

Those who tell you that Brahman is unity, that you can get it only by intuition, that you should not reason, you should not question or inquire, are deluding you. Verification must come by thought. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Holding yourself as the Self is holding the mortal as immortal.+

By knowing who you are you will not become immortal because you are a mortal bound by the experience of birth, life, death, and the world.
The Self is not you but the Self is the immortal Soul, which is unborn and eternal. Holding yourself as the Soul is a great error. Yourself is the ego. Holding yourself as the Self is holding the mortal as immortal.
The Soul, which is present in the form of  consciousness appears as the diverse universe and is only an illusion. If it really became diverse then the immortal would become mortal. The dualist’s thinkers who seek to prove the origination of the unborn, by that very enterprise try to make the immortal, mortal.

Ultimate nature can never change - the immortal can never become mortal and vice versa.  There's no plurality in the nature of the Soul. Consciousness appears to be many.

Those who are attached to creation or production or origination are in ignorance because their approach is more practical, and they are stuck with the reality of the universe (waking) because they take it as real.

The dualist thinkers ’ arguments are based on false Self (ego) and false experience (mind or waking or dream or universe)    to show the weakness of the position of the dualistic viewpoint.  They are at their wits end to explain.
Remember:~
Self-Knowledge bestows immortality. The Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of  consciousness is the unborn reality.

The universe in which you are born, live and die is merely an illusion created out of consciousness. Mentally hold on the Atman the Self and drop the illusion by realizing the illusion is nothing but  consciousness.
Consciousness is God in truth. God in truth is Self-evident. It is not established by extraneous proofs. It is not possible to deny God in truthbecause God in truth is the very essence of the one who denies God in truth. God in truth is the basis of all kinds of knowledge, presuppositions, and proofs.
The Soul, the Self is present in the form of consciousness. The Soul is the witness-consciousness that experiences the action, the actor, and the world of separate things. It is like a light that illuminates everything in a theatre, revealing the master of ceremonies, the guests, and the dancers with complete impartiality. Even when they all depart, the light shines to reveal their absence.
Remember:~
Those Gurus who are unaware of the 'Self' hidden by the illusion say you are unborn eternal. l such statement has no value because you are born, live and die in the world in which you exist.
The world itself an illusion created out of the Soul, the Self, which is birthless and deathless because it is the formless, timeless and spaceless existence.
Immortality is not concerned with you because you are not the ‘Self’. You are born, live and die within the world, so you are not the ‘Self’.
You are mortal because the Self is not you. The Soul, the Self is immortal because it is unborn eternal.  The Soul, the Self is real and ever nondual.
The Soul the ‘Self’ is hidden by the world in which you are born, live and die. From the standpoint of the Soul, the world in which you live and die is merely an illusion.

You induvial experience of the birth, life, death, and the world is merely an illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. You are mortal because you belong to the dualistic illusion whereas the Soul, which is hidden by the dualistic illusion, is real and eternal.
The Soul, the Self is birthless and deathless because the Soul, the Self is a formless, timeless and spaceless existence.
Remember:~
You are not the ‘Self’ because you are mortal. You are mortal because you are bound by the experience of the birth, life, death, and the world. The ‘Self’ is the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness is immortal because it is ever formless, timeless and spaceless existence.
The one that is in ignorance is the Soul; the one that has to wake up from the sleep of ignorance is the Soul, the  Self.
The world in which you exist is the product of ignorance. When ignorance vanishes the world in which you exist is merely an illusion created out of consciousness.
Without the illusion, the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness alone will prevail as the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth. Thus, the Soul, the Self is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

Self-realization is necessary to realize ‘what is truth and ‘what is the untruth.
Many souls' theory is based on the false self and false experience (world). When the whole universe is created out of single stuff, which is the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness then whatever the universe contains is also consciousness. Thus, the Soul, the Self is one and in ignorance, the diversity appears as reality.
Knowledge of the single stuff is Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
Like an ornament made from gold is Gold, that which is born out of consciousness is consciousness. Like gold is the permanent thing, in ornaments made of gold, similarly, the mind, which is in the form of the universe is born out of consciousness, is consciousness in its essence.
Deeper Self-search reveals the fact that you are not the Self, the world in which you exist is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, but consciousness is specifically not an entity or identity or a thing within the world in which you exist. But it is the cause of the world in which you exist and it itself is uncaused.
The Soul, the Self is hidden by the universe in which you exist. The nature of the Soul is ever nondual.
It is necessary to realize the universe in which you exist is created out of single stuff, which is consciousness. Consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth. Thus, God in truth alone is real; the universe in which you exist is merely an illusion created out of consciousness.
It takes time for the seeker to gain the perfect understanding of ‘what is the truth’ and ‘’what is untruth’. It takes time for the Soul, the Self to wake up from the sleep of ignorance, and it takes time for one realizes the truth, which is hidden by the illusory form, time, and space. :~Santthosh Kumaar
