You just study the nature of the universe with all the seriousness and sincerity to unfold the mystery of the universe.+*****

Let Advaitic wisdom annihilate ignorance (I) and reveal Soul, the Self the God in             truth.  Let your ears become deaf to the untruth propagated by the religion as a                reality; enable you to realize the truth hidden by the ignorance (I).  Let your eyes            become blind to illusion to receive the Soul as the Self as it is in the midst of the               dualistic illusion.

The universe hides God.

The universe itself is what God is all about. The totality of the universe is what God is all about. You just study the nature of the universe with all the seriousness and sincerity to unfold the mystery of the universe. That is all you have to do. The universe is the seeker's school.
All the religious scriptures and holy books are irrelevant -- God's greatest book is just in front of you.
That is why Sage Sri, Sankara says you must first know what is before you. If you cannot know that, what else can you know or understand? If you give up the external world in your inquiry, you cannot get the whole truth.

You have to study the book of the universe w carefully and find and realize God hidden in it.
All religions claim that their books are not man-made? Hindus claim that the Vedas are Aporsheya: not made by man but revealed by God himself; and Sanskrit is the divine language, not human.
All religions have the same type of claim. Muslims say the Koran has descended from God, and so with Jews and Christians. Everybody is trying to claim that their book is the sacred book and nobody bothers to look at the real divine book.
This is what the real Veda, the real Koran, the real Bible is. This is the book, and all other books are man-made. Only this universe is the book that is authored by God because God is hidden by the universe.
The universe is real Veda, the real Koran, the real Bible is.  The universe is the book, and all other books are man-made.
Only when you open the book of the universe the God hidden in the book will be revealed.  When you finish reading the book of the universe then the universe will become an illusion and God alone prevails as the ultimate reality.
Sage Sri, Sankara: ~ VC~.63: "Without knowing and examining the universe, one can’t know the Truth, as the idea that the external world exists, won't go. It can go only by an inquiry into the nature of the external world.
Sage Sri, Sankara says: ~What is accepted without a proper inquiry will not lead a person to the final goal. On the contrary, such acceptance will result only in evil, in something which is detrimental to our spiritual progress.
You are also part of the divine book of the universe! And whatever you have seen, known, believed and experienced as an individual is part of it.
The Koran, the Vedas and the Bible and all the holy books are meant for the crowd but the book of the universe is meant for the seeker of God in truth.  The Book of the universe is imprinted in every living being.   The Vedas, Koran, Bible are stepping-stones towards the real book of the universe.
That is why Sage Sri, Sankara says:~  Of what avail are the Vedas and (other) Scriptures, Mantras (sacred formulae) and medicines to such a one?

For one who wants to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana, the mantas will not help to realize the truth, which is beyond the form, time and space.
For one who has been bitten by the serpent of Ignorance, the only remedy is the knowledge of Brahman. Of what avail are the Vedas and (other) Scriptures, Mantras (sacred formulae) and medicines to such a one?

Let erudite scholars quote all the scripture, let Gods be invoked through sacrifices, let elaborate rituals be performed, let personal Gods be propitiated---yet, without the realization of one‘s identity with the Self, there shall be no liberation for the individual, not  even in the lifetimes of a hundred Brahmas put together.

A sickness of not cured by saying the word “medicine.” You must take the medicine. Liberation does not come by merely saying the word “Brahman.” Brahman must be experienced. Until you allow this apparent universe to dissolve from your consciousness until you have realized Brahman, how can you find liberation just by saying the word Brahman? The result is merely noise. Until a man has destroyed his enemies and taken possession of the splendor and wealth of the kingdom, he cannot become a king by simply saying “I am a king.”

A buried treasure is not uncovered by merely uttering the words: “Come forth.” You must follow the right directions, dig, remove the stones and earth from above it, and then make it your own. In the same way, the pure truth of the Atman, which is buried under Maya and the effects of Maya, can be reached by meditation, contemplation, and other spiritual disciplines but never by perverse arguments.
Remember: ~
The ‘I’ is the universe. Without the ‘I’ the universe ceases to exist.  The Soul, the ‘Self’ and the universe are one in essence because the universe is nothing but an illusion created out of the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of the consciousness.
This universe is only the veil of ignorance on the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness. The Self is not you but the Soul, which is hidden by the universe. The Soul is hidden by the universe because the universe merely a dualistic illusion or Maya created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
Sage Sri Sankara: ~VC~ All this universe which through ignorance appears as of diverse forms, is nothing else but Brahman (Consciousness) which is absolutely free from all the limitations of human thought.

When you finally realize the ‘‘Self’ ‘is not you but the ‘‘Self’’ is the Soul then you will realize the world in which you exist is merely an illusion created out of the Soul. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness.
Sage Sri, Sankara says: ~VC-47 -All the effects of ignorance, root, and branch, are burnt down by the fire of knowledge, which arises from discrimination between these two—the Self and the non-Self.
Sri, Sankara says clearly, the universe is not real. He says that Brahman and Atman are one. The ultimate and the Absolute Truth is the Self, which is one though appearing as many in different individuals. The individual has no reality. Only the Soul, the innermost  Self is Real; the rest, mental and physical are but passing appearances, then it indicates the form (waking or duality or mind) is unreal and the formless Soul (consciousness or Soul) is real.  Therefore, only Atman is real because there is no second thing exist other than Atman, which is in the form of consciousness.
Remember: ~ All is consciousness. The whole universe is consciousness. From consciousness, the universe comes. When the universe disappears, the consciousness still remains without form, time and space.
Until you think you are an individual separate from the world and the world existed prior to you and you are born in it afterward the ignorance will prevail as a reality. Till ignorance is there the universe prevails as a reality. Until the universe prevails as a reality the religion thrives.  : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Theism is in the traditional sense; it is the belief in at least one God. Monotheism is defined as the belief in only one god and polytheism is defined as belief in many Gods.+*****

Theism is in the traditional sense; it is the belief in at least one God. Monotheism is defined as the belief in only one god and polytheism is defined as a belief in many Gods.

Some organized religions follow monotheism where God is supreme and none except him. These god-centric faiths follow particular rules and regulations that the ‘believer’ has to follow without questioning. He cannot question those rules, the life of the sage or the ultimate God. The individualized gods God is isolated from nature and everything is God's. Thus an element of attachment to a name and gender, obstruction to free thinking and free will can be seen in any belief system.

In the past those who questioned the validity of this religious authority were exiled, killed or termed as irreligious and condemned.

Theism, in this specific sense, conceives of God as personal, present and active in the governance and organization of the world and the universe.

If mysticism appeals readily to the largest number it does so because it demands not deep inquiry or reasoning which is always so taxing even to the most intelligent people. Mental peace is sought by all, fools and philosophers alike.

What however makes mysticism especially attractive seems to be that any man can get all the satisfaction he needs as easily as possible and can boldly declare that what he has known is the Highest or the Absolute, by spying that it is 'indescribable.'

Mysticism brings inexpressible joy which is an unquestionable fact. This has made many believe that mystic experience also helps man to make contact with the Highest Being or the Absolute or God.  Without knowing what God supposed to be in actuality how can one accept the mystical experience as truth?  The experience implies duality whereas God is nondual.

The vagueness due to ignorance which alludes can be found in plenty in mystic literature religious, theological, scholastic literature in the world.

Advaita presentation to the Western world has been in the hands of those who were proficient in religion or mysticism and expert in interpretations of its teachings not of the Gnanis.

No religion or mysticism can claim to teach or reveal the ultimate truth or Brahman because they all are based on the dualistic standpoint, holding their individual experience of birth, life, death, and the world as a reality.  Every religion founded on the foundation of the individual experience of birth, life, death, and the world as a reality whereas Sage Sri, Sankara says the universe is an illusion.

If the universe is an illusion then the individual experience of birth, life, death which happens within the universe is bound to be an illusion.

The illusory nature of the universe is ignored by every scholar and expert in interpretations of religion and mysticism because their views and judgment are based on religious and mystic points of view.

The worst wars violence, terrorism waged to assert the supremacy of one religion over another or to undermine another's religion and forceful conversion from one faith to another.

Theism, in this specific sense, conceives of God as personal, present and active in the governance and organization of the universe.

Polytheism based on Puranas belongs to Hinduism, not Vedic religion or  Sanatana Dharma. 33 million Gods in Hinduism but from the scriptures, we find a plethora of quotes that completely debase this myth.

Rig Veda 1/164/46: They call him Indra, Mitra, Varuna, Agni or the heavenly sunbird Garutmat. The seers call in many ways that which is One; they speak of Agni, Yama, Matarishvan.
Rig Veda 8/58/2: Only One is the Fire, enkindled in numerous ways; only One is the Sun, pervading this whole universe; only One is the Dawn, illuminating all things. In very truth, the One has become the whole world.

Mundaka Upanishad/3/1/8: Eye cannot see God, nor words reveal God; by the senses, austerity, or works he is not known. When the mind is cleansed by the grace of wisdom, God is seen by contemplation–the One without parts.

Brihad Aranyaka Upanishad/ 3/8/9: It is in the truth that Imperishable, O Gargi, which is not seen but is the seer, which is not heard but is the hearer, which is not thought but is the thinker, which is not known but is the knower. There is no other seer but God, no other hearer but God, no other thinker but God, no other knower but God. And it is that Imperishable which is the warp and the woof of space.”

Thus, the Vedic scriptures recognize the unity of REALITY without hidden by the universe.

Brihad Aranyaka Upanishad (/3/7/3 – 22):~

3. “God dwells in the earth, yet is other than the earth, which the earth does not know, its body is the earth, which controls the earth from within–it is the ‘Atman’ within the ‘I’ , the Inner Controller, the immortal.

4." God dwells in the waters, yet is other than the waters, which the waters do not know, which body is the waters, which controls the waters from within– it is the ‘Atman’ within the ‘I’, the Inner Controller, the immortal.

6 God dwells in space, yet is other than space, which space does not know, which body is space, which controls space from within–it is the ‘Atman’ within the ‘I’, the Inner Controller, the immortal.

7. God dwells in the wind, yet is other than the wind, which the wind does not know, which body is the wind, which controls the wind from within– it is the ‘Atman’ within the ‘I’, the Inner Controller, the immortal.

8.”God dwells in the sky, yet is other than the sky, which the sky does not know, which body is the sky, which controls the sky from within– it is the ‘Atman’ within the ‘I’, the Inner Controller, the immortal.

9. God dwells in the sun, yet is other than the sun, which the sun does not know, which body is the sun, which controls the sun from within–   it is the ‘Atman’ within the ‘I’, the Inner Controller, the immortal.

10. “God dwells in the regions of space, yet is other than the regions of space, which the regions of space do not know, which  body is the regions of space, which  controls the regions of space from within– is the ‘Atman’ within  the ‘I’, the Inner Controller, the immortal.
11. God dwells in the moon and the stars, yet is other than the moon and the stars, which  the moon and the stars do not know, which body is the moon and stars, which controls the moon and the stars from within– it is the ‘Atman’ within  the ‘I’, the Inner Controller, the immortal.

12. “ God dwells in the atmosphere, yet is other than the atmosphere, which the atmosphere does not know, which body is the atmosphere, which controls the atmosphere from within– it is the ‘Atman’ within the ‘I’, the Inner Controller, the immortal.

13.  God dwells in the darkness, yet is other than the darkness, whom the darkness does not know, which body is the darkness, which controls the darkness from within– it is the ‘Atman’ within the ‘I’, the Inner Controller, the immortal.

14.  God dwells in the light, yet is other than the light, which the light does not know, whose body is the light, which controls the light from within– it is the ‘Atman’ within the ‘I’, the Inner Controller, the immortal.

So far with reference to the divinities. Now with reference to beings:~

15.  God dwells in all beings, yet is other than all beings, whom all beings do not know, which body is all beings, which controls all beings from within– it is the ‘Atman’ within the ‘I’, the Inner Controller, the immortal.

So far with reference to the beings. Now with reference to the body: ~

16. God dwells in the life-breath, yet is other than the life-breath, which the life-breath does not know, which body is the life-breath, which controls the life-breath from within– it is the ‘Atman’ within the ‘I’, the Inner Controller, the immortal.

18. God dwells in the eye, yet is other than the eye, which the eye does not know, whose body is the eye, which controls the eye from within–. It is the ‘Atman’ within the ‘I’, the Inner Controller, the immortal.

19.  God dwells in the ear, yet is other than the ear, which the ear does not know, which body is the ear, who controls the ear from within––. It is the ‘Atman’ within the ‘I’, the Inner Controller, the immortal.

20.God dwells in the mind, yet is other than the mind, which the mind does not know, which body is the mind, which controls the mind from within– It is the ‘Atman’ within the ‘I’, the Inner Controller, the immortal.

21. God dwells in the skin, yet is other than the skin, which the skin does not know, whose body is the skin, which controls the skin from within–It is the ‘Atman’ within the ‘I’, the Inner Controller, the immortal.

22.He who dwells in the understanding, yet is other than the understanding, which the understanding does not know, whose body is the understanding, who controls the understanding from within–It is the ‘Atman’ within the ‘I’, the Inner Controller, the immortal.

The above verses show that the creator is the life force of living beings and the dynamism of the universe. This also shows the dual aspect of REALITY being manifested, yet, unmanifested, known, yet unknown and being inside yet being outside.

in Hinduism is the story of 33 million Gods in Hinduism. Vedas and Upanishads say God is one and that God is Athma, debase this myth of33 million Gods.

That is why Swami Vivekananda~ THE MASSES IN INDIA CRY TO SIXTY MILLION GODS, AND STILL DIE LIKE DOGS. WHERE ARE THESE GODS?

Knowing this, stand up and fight! Not one step back that is the idea. ... Fight it out, whatever comes. Let the stars move from the sphere! Let the whole world stand against us! Death means only a change of garment. What of it? Thus fight! You gain nothing by becoming cowards. ... Taking a step backward, you do not avoid any misfortune. You have cried to all the gods in the world. Has misery ceased? The masses in India cry to sixty million Gods and still die like dogs. Where are these gods? ... The gods come to help you when you have succeeded. So what is the use? Die game. ... This bending the knee to superstitions, this selling yourself to your own mind does not befit you, my soul. You are infinite, deathless, birthless. Because you are the infinite spirit, it does not befit you to be a slave. ... Arise! Awake! Stand up and fight! Die if you must. There is none to help you. You are the entire world. Who can help you?  - Swami Vivekananda (Delivered In San Francisco, on May 28, 1900) The Complete Works of Swami Vivekananda/Volume 1/Lectures And Discourses/The Gita II

Peoples understanding of Advaita is on the religious perspective. The Advaitic wisdom itself completely refutes the religious idea of God. Advaitic wisdom is not dependent on the religion and religious scriptures and yoga to realize the ‘Self ‘hidden by the ‘I’. :~Santthosh Kumaar

Today, the Advaitic wisdom is demeaned, distorted and reduced by measuring it through a religious framework.+*****

The Advaitic wisdom is both in its formless and manifest aspects. But today, the Advaitic wisdom is demeaned, distorted and reduced by measuring it through a religious framework.
Only in ignorance, the universe in which we exist is an illusion created out of the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness.

The universe is both real and unreal. It is real because it is a manifestation of consciousness, but is unreal, in the sense, that it is not absolute and eternal like consciousness itself.

People's approach is more practical, and they stuck with the reality of the universe, they take it as real. That is why all the confusion.

The look of an object will depend upon the medium through which the observer views it. In fact, our mental and intellectual conditions determine the universe, observed and experienced. The commoner viewing the universe will see differently from a Gnani viewing the same world. Each one interprets the world that they see in terms of their existing knowledge. The commoner sees everything based on the ego, therefore, experiences the birth, life, death and the world as a reality, whereas a Gnani sees everything as the consciousness and he is fully aware of the fact that, there is no second thing exists other than the Soul or the consciousness. Thus, all the egocentric knowledge has to be bifurcated to realize the ultimate truth, which is beyond form, time and space.
The universe is egocentric aspects of reality; the Soul is the ultimate reality is hidden by the universe.  The Soul is the cause of the universe and it itself is uncaused. From the standpoint of the Soul, the universe is merely an illusion. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

There is a need to bifurcate the Religion from Spirituality to realize God in truth, which is hidden by ignorance.+

There is a need to bifurcate Religion from Spirituality to realize God in truth, which is hidden by ignorance. Belief in the religious Gods keeps the Soul, the ‘Self’ in the cage of ignorance.

The seeker of truth has to discard the idea of a personal God because God in actuality is impersonal. In spirituality the ultimate truth or Brahman is God.

God has no gender because God is a formless, timeless, and spaceless existence. The male /female Gods are religious Gods. The religious Gods are not God in truth.

Without realizing God in truth what is the use of praying and worshipping the religious Gods, which is not God in truth.

God is the Supreme Being the One eternal homogeneous essence, indivisible consciousness and intelligence, which is beyond the form, time, and space. To which the Sages describe in a variety of ways through diverse words.
Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God in truth) is in the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself.
People, who worship the belief of God without knowing the real God is not the belief but the Athma the Spirit,.
Yajurveda – chapter- 32:~ God is Supreme Spirit has no ‘Pratima’ (idol) or material shape. God cannot be seen directly by anyone. God pervades all beings and all directions. Thus, Idolatry does not find any support from the Vedas.
Vedas itself says: May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman? Thus, to know the real God Self-realization is necessary. Self-realization is God-realization. Self-realization itself is real worship.
All the male and female Gods and Goddesses belong to religion, not spirituality. Spirituality is nothing to do with religion. Spirituality is based on the Spirit, the real God whereas the religion is based on the false self within the false experience.
The metaphysics based on Vedas and Upanishads are beyond any form of theism be it monotheism or polytheism, as they point to “reality” which cannot be described by terms like monotheism or polytheism.

The individualized God and Goddesses belong to the religion. Religion is not spirituality. In spirituality, God is the Spirit the ‘Self.  The Spirit is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.  The Soul itself is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God.  From the standpoint of the Soul, the Self, everything is God. Everything is God means the whole universe is nothing but an illusion created out of God.

The religious  Gods are not God in truth. Because the religious belief of God without the dualistic illusion or Maya. The religion is based on the waking entity.   The waking entity is a false self (ego) within the false experience (waking).  Thus whatever one had seen, known, believed and experienced as waking entity is a falsehood, because from the standpoint of the Soul, the Self, the waking experience itself is an illusion.

The seeker has to realize the God in truth is hidden by the universe, which is the dualistic illusion. God is hidden by the dualistic illusion because the dualistic illusion is created out of God, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Remember: ~

Religious Gods are not God in truth. Bible says “God is a Spirit, and they that worship God must worship God in Spirit and in Truth. Rig Veda says may ye never accept another God in place of the Atman (Spirit) nor worship other than the Atman.

Attachment to a name and gender of God is an obstruction to realize God in truth, which is ever formless, timeless and spaceless existence.

History speaks that in the past those who questioned the validity of this religious authority were exiled, killed or termed as irreligious and condemned by the religious fanatics.

What is the use of arguing with religious believers?  They think what they know as the ultimate truth.
Whatever is real in the world in which we exist is God. All that is real in the world in which we exist is the Soul, the Self.
Thus, by realizing the Self, which is the Soul, we discover the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness itself is God which is hidden by the ‘I’, which is the dualistic illusion.
The Bible says: ~ “God is a Spirit, and they that worship God must worship God in Spirit and in Truth (John 4:24)”,

Even the Bhagavad Gita: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness (Spirit), which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).

When the Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness (Spirit) which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness.

Lord Krishna Says Ch ~V: ~ “Those who know the ‘Self’ in truth.". The last two words (tattvataha) are usually ignored by pundits, but they make all the difference between the ordinary concept of God and the truth about God.

The dualistic worship of "God” is only for the ignorant populace. The God in truth is only Atman, the innermost Self.   In reality, there is no dualities, no differentiation. Only Atman exists.

Sage Sankara’s Supreme Brahman (God in truth) is impersonal, Nirguna (without Gunas or attributes), Nirakara (formless), Nirvisesha (without special characteristics), immutable, eternal, and Akarta (non-agent). The Nirguna Brahman of Sage Sankara is impersonal. It is above all needs and desires. It is always the Witnessing Subject. It can never become an object as It is beyond the reach of the senses. Brahman is non-dual, one without a second. It has no other beside it. It is destitute of difference, either external or internal. Brahman cannot be described, because description implies a distinction. Brahman cannot be distinguished from any other than It. In Brahman, there is not the distinction between substance and attribute. Sat-Chit-Ananda constitutes the very essence or Svarupa of Brahman, and not just Its attributes. The Nirguna Brahman (God) of Sage Sankara is impersonal.

Sage Sankara: ~"That which permeates all, which nothing transcends and which, like the universal space around us, fills everything completely from within and without, that Supreme non-dual Brahman  or God in truth."

Remember:~

Rig Veda: ~ 'Prajnanam Brahma'- Consciousness is the ultimate reality of Brahman or God in truth.

Do not accept any other truth other than consciousness. Consciousness is the ultimate truth. Nothing is real but consciousness. Realize consciousness as the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth. Consciousness is everywhere and in everything. Let these words be inscribed in your subconscious.

Rig Veda: ~ The Atman (Soul or Spirit) is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman the innermost self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)

Rig-Veda 1-164-46 and Y.V 32-1 clearly mention that God is “One”.

Rig Veda declares God is ‘ONE’ and God is Atman, then why believe and worship anything else as God in place of real God.
Bhagavad Gita Chapter: ~ All those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires, they worship many Gods. (7- Verse)
The Brihadaranyaka Upanishad:~ "He who worships the deities as entities entirely separate from him does not know the truth. For the Gods, he is like a pasu (beast)". (1. 4. 10)

Vedas, Upanishad and Bhagavad Gita Bible confirm the Soul, the innermost Self, which is the present in the form of the Spirit or the consciousness is God.

It is for every seeker who is seeking truth must first know what God is supposed to be in actuality according to Vedas and Upanishads and reject all non-Vedic Gods to realize that Atman is the real God.

Self-realization is the Truth-realization, truth realization is God realization. Thus, Self-realization itself is real worship. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Sage Sankara's Advaitic wisdom is nothing to do with Hinduism.+

As we peep into the religious history of India we find:~
A great majority of Hindus are not in contact with their religious history therefore, they believe their inherited beliefs as the ultimate truth.
Hinduism is based on myths and thus, people in India are unaware of the facts of their inherited religious history. The Vedic Culture and Vedas are complete in themselves but Hinduism which is a non-Vedic belief system with all its ritual and conduct-oriented practices has been contributed largely by the orthodox priests to suit their convenience!
Vedas are in the Vedic language which was a high-class language. Rig Veda (excluding chapters II and X) were written before the Christian Era in Vedic language. Vedic language is not Sanskrit. It is the same language in which the Zoroastrian Scripture Zend Avesta is written – a form of Persian language. All the other scriptures of India are written in Sanskrit.
These include Rig Veda Chapter II and X and the Upanishads, Brahmanas, Puranas and the Vedanta. These were written during the Christian Era after the Thomas ministry. As the use of this language diminished, it became a tough language for the commoners.
The priests, who were supposed to be an expert in this language, translated it into Sanskrit language and manipulated the meanings in time and gradually, all the practices changed.
The DaVita, Vedanta borrows the concept from Abrahamic religions, such as Eternal Damanation (of certain Souls destined to hell forever) which goes against the belief of most Vedanta schools, which states that Soul attains liberation.
It looks like the creator-creation theory is also borrowed from Abrahamic religion and on the base new belief system has been introduced giving it Vedic outlook and propagated all non-Vedic rituals and worships by someone in the past.
The vast ocean of Vedic religion or Santana Dharma was consistently steady and calm for a very long period. It appears that as a consequence of the rage of the Buddhist revolution it got suddenly disturbed and flowed down to us in disorder. Even today Vedic religion or Santana Dharma has not recovered from the onslaught of Buddhism and Jainism and is not able to settle in people's hearts in its original form in the same old measure.
Hinduism indulges non-Vedic beliefs such as idolatry, ancestor worship, pilgrimages, priestcraft, offerings made in temples, the caste system, untouchability and child marriages. All these lack Vedic sanction, therefore, Hinduism is not Ancient Vedic religion or Santana Dharma.
All Hindu Gods are non -Vedic God. The Vedas exclaim from time immemorial: ~
Yajurveda – chapter- 32:~ God is Supreme Spirit has no ‘Pratima’ (idol) or material shape. God cannot be seen directly by anyone. God pervades all beings and all directions.
Thus, Idolatry does not find any support from the Vedas.
The Vedas exclaim from time immemorial: ~ The God is one and universal.
God is the Spirit. The Spirit is the Soul, the innermost Self. God is the Soul, the innermost Self. The Soul is the Supreme Being the One eternal homogeneous essence, indivisible consciousness and intelligence, which is beyond the form, time, and space. To which the Sages describe in a variety of ways through diverse words.
The Vedas exclaim from time immemorial: ~
Rig Veda: ~ 'Prajnanam Brahma'- Consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.
Do not accept any other God other than the Soul. The Soul is God in truth, Nothing is real but the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Nothing matters but realizing God in truth. God in truth is everywhere and in everything. Let these words be inscribed in your subconscious.
God in truth is hidden by the illusory universe. God in truth alone is real and eternal and all else is an illusion.
Brahman is merely a word to indicate the ultimate truth or God in truth. The ultimate truth itself is God in truth.
People who hold the Vedas as sacred should not indulge in non-Vedic activities by repeating the names of non-Vedic Gods.
Rig Veda, 1-164-146: ~ Ekam Sat Vipra Bahudha Vadanti, Existence is One.
God is one and universal.
God is the Spirit. The Spirit is the Soul, the Self. God is the Soul, the Self. The Soul is the Supreme Being the One eternal homogeneous essence, indivisible consciousness and intelligence, which is beyond the form, time, and space. To which the Sages describe in a variety of ways through diverse words.
Rig Veda: ~ The Atman (Soul) is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman the Self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)
Bhagavad Gita: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham Brahman (God in truth) is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (Gita 14.27)
The Upanishads say in effect that ~ if you believe that the Soul is one and God (Brahman) is another you cannot understand Truth.
Brihad Upanishad: ~ “If you think there is another entity, whether man or God there is no truth."
Religion advocates extreme asceticism. Asceticism is a waste of time. Religion is nothing but remaining in a false belief, dogmas, and superstition.
Mundaka Upanishad:~ The rituals and the sacrifices described in the Vedas deal with lower knowledge. The sages ignored these rituals and went in search of higher knowledge. ... Such rituals are unsafe rafts for crossing the sea of samsara, of birth and death. Doomed to shipwreck are those who try to cross the sea of samsara on these poor rafts. Ignorant of their own ignorance, yet wise In their own esteem, these deluded men Proud of their vain learning go round and round Like the blind led by the blind.
Sage Sankara says:~ “The scriptures dealing with rituals, rewards are therefore addressed to an ignorant person. Thus, the rituals are meant for ignorant people.
Sage  Sankara: ~ "Though I wear these robes of a Sanyasin, it is only for the sake of bread."
~ this shows Sage Sri, Sankara was wearing the religious robe only for the sake of bread." Thus, it means those who are wearing religious robe for the sake of bread.
