Without knowing what God supposed to be in actuality people speak of God creating the world? +

Without knowing what God is supposed to be in actuality people speak of God creating the world? Religious people speak of God creating the world as if they were present when God was creating the world before God created the world in which they exist.   Without knowing what God is supposed to be in actuality according to their holy books Religious people speak of God.

Yajurveda – chapter- 32: God is Supreme Spirit has no ‘Pratima’ (idol) or material shape. God cannot be seen directly by anyone. God pervades all beings and all directions.

God with form, name, and attributes does not find any support from the Vedas. When Veda says God cannot be seen directly by anyone how can anyone see God creating the world?

The Bible says: ~ God is a Spirit, and they that worship God must worship God in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24)

The Spirit is the root element of the universe. The Spirit is present in the form of the Soul, the innermost Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. From the Spirit, the universe comes into existence. In the Spirit, the universe resides. And into the Spirit, the universe is dissolved. The Spirit is the parent of all that is there is

Bhagavad Gita: ~ ‘All those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires, they worship many Gods. (7- Verse -20)

Only the path of wisdom leads the seeker of truth on his journey to the ultimate realization of the true nature of the Universal Essence, which is the Soul. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness.

Bhagavad Gita: 7: 19:~ "Such a man who has attained true knowledge, the knowledge of Self, the knowledge of Atman, worships ‘Self’ as~ Atman (God) alone exists~ everything is Atman, there exists nothing except Atman. Such a man is extremely rare."

The Bhagavad Gita: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).

When Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness.

It is foolish to say I know God and he is everywhere because he has read it or heard from someone.  How does he know God and how does he know that he is everywhere?  Appearances and quotations have nothing to do with the ultimate truth. God is impotent, incompetent, or lacking in intelligence--if he exists! But all God propagated by belief systems is nothing but imagination.

There is nothing so absurd which men have not worshiped in religion, every imaginable face has been given to God.  If God is creator then it is foolish to worship anything as God from God's creation because the creation is apart from God.

Sage Goudapada quotes from the Upanishads: ~ "There's no plurality here"; "The Soul through its powers appears to be many"; "those who are attached to the   creation or production or origination go to utter darkness"; "the unborn is never reborn, for what can produce it?”

No one has seen God creating the world.

The creator and creation theory is based on the false self within the false experience.   There is neither creation in the realm of ultimate truth nor Brahman because there is no scope for duality of any sort.  The conclusion is that there is no second thing exists other than consciousness.

Everything is consciousness thus diversity has no value in light of wisdom.  Thus, recognizing the mind, the illusion, the universe, duality, or three states as consciousness in the midst of diversity brings unity in diversity.

Sage Sankara says:~ The scriptures for children but throw them on the fire for wise seekers.

In Brahma Sutras Sage Sankara takes for granted, and assumes that a world was created: He there mixes dogmatic theology with philosophy.

That God created the world is an absolute lie; nevertheless, you will find Sage  Sankara (in his commentary on Vedanta Sutras) clearly says this! He has to adapt his teachings to his audience, reserving the highest for philosophical minds.

The text of Brahma Sutras is based on religion and dogmatism, but in the commentary, Sage Sankara cleverly introduced some philosophy. If it objected that, a number of Upanishads are equally dogmatic because they also begin by assuming Brahman, but a few Upanishads do not but prove Brahman at the end of a train of proof.

Remember:~

The causality and creation, but are for religious people only.  Religion is only for those who are unable to understand truth beyond form, time, and space. Religion is not final. It only gives satisfaction to the populace. Self-knowledge is for the whole of humanity to free them from experiencing birth, life, death, and the world as reality.

People of small intelligence follow religion and believe that God created the world. However, how do they know that He did so? When a pot is created, one can see both the pot and its maker, but not in the case of the world.

Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is meant only for those who have an intense urge, and courage to accept the truth with humility and reject the untruth. Since people start comparing with their scriptural knowledge, it becomes impossible to assimilate and realize the Advaitic truth.   Therefore, there is no need to convince anyone other than our own selves to get a firm conviction.

People think that there must be a creator of this universe. If one thinks of his body or as the Self, then there is a creator, but if one realizes the Soul as the Self, then there is nothing that exists other than the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
From the standpoint of the Soul, there is neither form nor time nor space. Religion propagates the creator and the creation theory hence people are forced to admit it. People are stuck believing in the creator and the creation theory thus they are stuck to the reality of the world in which they exist.

No one has seen God creating the world. No one can claim that he was the first Knower of the creation.  How can anyone know God created the creation when he, himself is part of the creation?

People talk of God creating the creation as if they were present when God was creating the creation.  So people who wrote creation and creator theory existed prior to God creating the creation.

There got to be at the very beginning of the creation of someone or another who was the very first knower of the creation.  There cannot be something ‘known’ in the absence of a ‘knower.’

Creation is the very nature of the Soul, the   Self. It is his inherent nature that simply emanates and flows from the Soul. But even this is only an illusory appearance for in truth there's no creation at all because the Soul, which is God in truth alone exists.

Remember:~

If one objectifies and sees the universe, then he is bound to see many things, besides himself and postulate a God, the creator. Body, God, and the world rise and set together from, and into, the Soul, the  Self. The Soul is the source from where the mind (universe) rises and subsides.

If God is apart from the Soul, the   Self, then He would be Self-less, that is, outside existence, that is, non-existent. The mind (universe) and its substance and its source (Soul) are one in essence. That essence is consciousness.

Thus, consciousness alone is real all else is merely an illusion created out of consciousness. Thus, consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman. The ultimate truth is God in truth.

From the absolute standpoint, the creation is an impossibility. The creation and creator theory is the false theory based on the false self. Whatever is based on the false self is bound to be a falsehood.

Consciousness is the only reality in which the universe (creation) exists, to which the universe (creation) belongs; from which the universe (creation) has emerged, which is the cause of the universe (creation) and itself is uncaused.  Thus, the universe (creation) is nothing but consciousness. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
