There is no need to study Advaita Vedanta or Buddhism or indulge in the yogic practice.+

It really depends on his inborn natural capacity to understand and assimilate Advaitic truth.

Sage Sankara’s wisdom is a Self-examiner, to test oneself to discover how near to Gnana he has approached and what progress has already been made on the path, and what still remains to be done. It sets up a criterion for Self-judgement. There are millions in search of truth but one in million will be able to grasp it.

Grasp the ultimate truth anytime, at any age, if the seeker has the spiritual maturity and capacity to grasp it. I can point at the sky, but the seeing of the star is the seeker's own work. It is necessary to reflect on the same truth again and again until it becomes a reality.

There is no need to study Advaita Vedanta or Buddhism or indulge in the yogic practice.

Read repeatedly my postings and blogs and reflect and reason deeply which helps you to create a mental yardstick in your subconscious to discriminate between ‘what is the truth? And what is the untruth? When the subconscious is receptive and ready then it will start rejecting the untruth and finally, then the Soul, the 'Self’ alone will prevail as the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

There is no practice as such, but perfect understanding is needed to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atman Gnana.

A deeper Self-search reveals the fact that the Self is not physical, but the Self is a formless Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Therefore, all the accumulated knowledge, experiences, and understanding based on the ego are falsehoods because the ego is the false self, within the false experience (waking).

The ‘Self’ is not you. You are the ego. The ego is the waking entity. Thus, whatever is based on the waking entity is bound to be a falsehood because the waking experience itself is a falsehood. All the Gurus and their teachings limit the ‘Self’ as individuality. Thus, they yield only a half-truth.

There is a need to realize the three states, which come and go, are merely an illusion. All three states are made of single stuff. That single stuff is consciousness. Knowledge of the single stuff is Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

First, realize what the Self is in actuality. Amazingly an honest introspection will reveal that all fault lies with “you” and " your "own perceptions and attitudes.

If there is an error in understanding what 'Self' is in actuality it is in “you". Correcting this and changing to a Soulcentric attitude will change your perception and then the Soul; the 'Self' will reveal its formless, timeless, and spaceless true nature.

The mind becomes still, only when ignorance vanishes. The ignorance vanishes, when wisdom dawns. When wisdom dawns, then the Soul, the Self, remains in its own awareness in the midst of the duality.

Start your mental (inner) journey even though you may find it difficult at first as you go on reading the post your subconscious will start dropping the dualistic egocentric knowledge and start accepting the Soul-centric Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

As you cross the ‘I’ and get to the other side and once you are on the other side of the ‘I’ is the reality, which is beyond form, time, and space. You will realize that the ‘I’ is an illusion.

Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is nothing to do with the ‘I-centric' teaching.

Remember, the ‘I’ is not an individual because the ‘I’ is the whole universe. Limiting the ‘I’ to individuality is the cause of experiencing the dualistic illusion of reality?

The nature of the ‘I’ is the nature of the mind.

The nature of the mind is the nature of the universe.

The nature of the universe is the nature of the waking.

The nature of waking is the nature of the illusion.

Thus, it is necessary to study the nature of the ‘I’ to unfold the mystery of the universe.

All the teachings limit the ‘I’ to an individual and glorify the ‘I’ without knowing what this ‘I’ supped to be in actuality. All ‘I’ based teachings are inadequate and useless for the serious seeker of truth.

If you are seeking truth nothing but the truth must discard without mercy such teaching in order to progress in your spiritual quest.

The seeker must know the ‘I’ is not limited to individuality. The seeker has to see the ‘I’ as the universe, in order to overcome ignorance. When the Advaitic wisdom dawns, then the ignorance vanishes.

When ignorance vanishes and the dualistic illusion (world) you used to think as reality becomes unreal.

Katha Upanishad says: ~ This Atman is attained by him alone whom It chooses. (II -23-P-20)

Thus, those who have taken the path of wisdom are chosen ones. The chosen one will get the grace of the Soul, the inner Guru. The path of wisdom is the Soulcentric path, whereas all other paths are egocentric. All egocentric paths are leads to hallucination.

The Soul, the 'Self' reveals‘ what is real’ and ‘what is unreal' when the seeker is receptive and ready.

Sages of truth restrained themselves parting the Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana to the mass and only a selected few. It was hidden from the ignorant populace which was not qualified and receptive to it.

Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana was not written down but was imparted orally to the chosen few.

Thus, religion was given to the ignorant populace, and knowledge of the Spirit is given to only a selected few. Thus we find traces of the knowledge of the spirit in the religious books in the form of parables.: ~ Santthosh Kumaar
