Mistaking the spiritual heart within the body and it is located on the right side of the chest is a great error because the spiritual heart is the Soul.+

Raman Maharishi says "Here lies the Heart, the dynamic, spiritual Heart. It is called Hridaya and is located on the right side of the chest.

Santthosh Kumaar:~ Mistaking the spiritual heart within the body and it is located on the right side of the chest is a great error because the spiritual heart is the Soul, which is ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

Sage Sankara says: ~ “What is accepted without a proper inquiry will not lead a person to the final goal. On the contrary, such acceptance will result only in evil, something which is detrimental to our spiritual progress.

Sage Sankara says :~VC-47 All the effects of ignorance, root, and branch, are burnt down by the fire of knowledge, which arises from discrimination between these two—the Self and the non-Self.

Until you think you are an individual separate from the world and the world existed prior to you and you are born in it afterward ignorance will prevail as a reality. Till ignorance is there the universe prevails as reality.

Sage Sankara says: ~ “The exercise in discrimination between real and unreal and renunciation of the false is real meditation, then why you are indulging in other types of meditation.

Perfect understanding and realization of ‘what is what’ leads to Self-awareness. By holding onto theories one remains in the realm of duality. You have to mentally go on dropping what is not the truth through deeper Self-search. Finally when you become aware of the fact that, your ego, your body, and the world are one in essence then there is Self-awareness in the midst of dualistic illusion or Maya.

Raman Maharshi said in (KNOW YOUR SELF~page 31):~ the location of the Heart is of the chest and not on the left. The light of the consciousness flows from the heart to through Sushumna's channel to ‘Sahasrarara’.From ‘Sahasrarara’ consciousness spreads all over the body, then the experience of the world arises. Viewing themselves as different from that consciousness human beings get caught up in the cycle of birth and death.

The ‘Sahasrara’ of one who abides in the Self is pure light only. Any thoughts which approach it cannot survive.

Even when objects are perceived, because of their nearness, it does not destroy yoga as the mind sees no differences.

The state in which awareness is firm, even when objects are sensed, is called the natural state. In Nirvikalpa Samadhi, there is no objective perception.
The entire universe is in the body and the whole body is in the Heart. hence, the universe is contained within the Heart.

Some other Gurus also propagate the Nadi you refer to is called Amrita Nadi. It connects the Spiritual Heart with the Sahasrara. It is best to merge in the Heart and then see that the Heart is beyond time and space.

But

Santthosh Kumaar:~ Deeper self-search reveals:~ When the ‘Self’ is not the body then the location of the Heart is of the chest and not on the left. The light of the consciousness flows from the heart to through Sushumna's channel to ‘Sahasrara’ have no value. All these concepts are yogic and they have no value in the Atmic path.

When the ‘Self’ is not the body, the question of the Amrita Nadi or Sahasrara does not arise. Until we think the ‘Self’ is within the body it is impossible to cross the threshold of dualistic illusion.

Deeper self-search reveals the fact that the ‘Self’ is not the body then why bring Nadi, and chakras when they are part and parcel of the body.

Deeper self-search reveals the fact that the ‘Self’ is neither the body nor the ‘I’. Thus, one has to go beyond the ‘I’ means beyond the form, time, and space to realize 'Self' is a formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

The Soul, the Self is unborn and eternal because it is ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

Remember:~

Raman Maharishi: ~ He placed his right hand on his right breast and continued, "Here lies the Heart, the dynamic, spiritual Heart. It is called Hridaya and is located on the right side of the chest and is clearly visible to the inner eye of an adept on the spiritual path. Through meditation, you can learn to find the Self in the cave of this Heart." ~ Mercedes de Acosta, Here Lies the Heart.

Santthosh Kumaar: ~ ‘The spiritual heart is the Soul, the Self, not the physical heart. The world in which you exist is merely an illusion created out of the Soul, the spiritual heart, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Mistaking the spiritual heart within the body is a great error. Even some Advaitic Guru says that the Self is within the spiritual heart. And the spiritual heart is on the left side. Such a statement is merely an imagination, based on the false self.

When the ‘Self’ is bodiless, then the question of the heart being left side or right side does not arise.

The Seeker must realize the Soul, the Self, itself is the spiritual heart. The Soul, the spiritual heart is ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

The Soul itself is the spiritual heart that is present in the form of the Spirit or consciousness. :~ Santthosh Kumaar

Yogi is unaware of the ‘Self hidden by the world in which he exists.+

Patanjali warns against sleep as a hindrance to yoga, he means when it occurs in the early stages of the practice. Yogi is unaware of the ‘Self hidden by the world in which he exists.

For only when all is known can all be known to be but ideation. Hence yogis blotting all out in samadhi cannot lead to Advaitic Gnana.

Ashtavakra says:~"This is your bondage, that you practice Samadhi or meditation.”
Remaining thoughtless in the waking experience is yogic Samadhi. Yogic Samadhi is not the Advaitic wisdom
Brih Upanishad: page 32. "Yoga does not yield truth or liberation."

One who is in Samadhi will not know that this universe as the consciousness; therefore yoga is not the means to Self- knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

In Samadhi the yogi knows nothing, sees no universe; so if there is nothing but blankness. The blankness is not the Advaitic wisdom.

The yogi does not know the nature of the universe. If the universe is not seen in the Samadhi then there is no need to use the word Atman and Brahman.  The yogi is unaware of the truth, which is beyond the form, time and space.

By shutting his eyes in Samadhi, the yogi does not know the universe, which confronts him. Hence the universe can't be known as the Soul or the consciousness through yoga.

One is in a non-dual condition in deep sleep or Samadhi, One without a second, true, but he did not know it at the time. He says only in the waking experience afterward. Hence, there must be an inquiry so that you find non-duality whilst you are awake so that you can see nonduality at the time not afterwards. Hence, too the need for inquiring into the nature of the universe and knowing it as the Soul or the consciousness whilst one is awake, and not during sleep or Samadhi.

Advaitic truth is the ultimate truth.  Yogis, mystics and religious teachers do not accept the path of wisdom because it pries into the truth, the source and the validity of the knowledge they claim. Therefore, it is the most difficult part of the study of Advaita.

That is why Sage Sankara said: ~ “Without causing the objective universe to vanish and without knowing the truth of the Self, how is one to achieve Liberation. -63- (VC)”

The universe in which we exist will not remain as reality when wisdom dawns. The universe is a mere mirage created out of the consciousness and there is a conscious awareness of unity in diversity because there is no second thing exists other than the consciousness.

Remember:~

Lord Krishna confesses that the oldest wisdom of India (Advaitic wisdom) has been lost: people misinterpret and falsify it today as they did then. It is not yoga but philosophic truth. But nobody knows it. The teachers of philosophy and leaders of mysticism or religion do not want to inquire into truth and have no time for it. (Gita –Chap- IV-v.2)

In Gita Chap.IV where Lord Krishna says: ~ "This yoga has been lost for ages" the word yoga refers to Gnana yoga, not other yogas: the force of the word this is to point this out.

Lord Krishna describes some of the other yogas but devotes this chapter separately to Gnana Yoga. So one sees even in those ancient days people did not care for Advaita; they wanted religion; hence Gnana got lost. That is why Krishna calls it "the supreme secret." Krishna points out that the yoga must see "Brahman in action."

Mystics who promise a Garden of Eden, a joyous outlook on life, do not see that this must be a Seen, an object which is seen and must inevitably vanish. How long can it last? We Vedantins regard peace as higher, because it is apart from joy or sorrow, ecstasy or pain, and because it belongs to the  Maya and is therefore unbroken, permanent.

In the dream you know that the dream figures are also mind(universe), not different from it; similarly, when you know that everything is Brahman, there is no need for yogic control of the mind. Control presupposes second, a duality. Hence yoga is in the sphere of duality and is unnecessary to one who knows non-duality.

Advaita requires one to be active in order to examine the world and discriminate. Hence Advaitic awareness means knowing that there are no ideas different from Self, as the dream mountain is not different from the Self, knowing which they automatically come under control.  Advaitic awareness is different from Patanjali Yogic Nirvikalpa samadhi, which is only a deep sleep.

There is nothing to drive out. Even the yogi's ecstasies may be retained, provided you do not let yourself be deceived about them and accept them like everything else, as part of Brahman.

The mystic who sees God in vision has seen Him during the waking state: but as Reality is not in a state, therefore he is in the world of Seen.

The Yogi wants to do something, some action, even that of sitting still, to control this or concentrate that. This means he is still attached to the body. He wants his body to be quiet. He is still thinking of the illusory body. He does not start with Vedanta's idea that the body is but an idea. On the contrary, he takes it for reality.:~Santthosh Kumaar

Yogi who is in Samadhi will not know that this universe as consciousness; therefore yoga is not the means to Self- knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.+

The yogi may get the knowledge that the Seer is separate from Seen, but he will never know Brahman without inquiring into the world, because he is giving up the world, and hence cannot discover his unity with the world.  Gnani regards everything in the world as Brahman; the yogi rejects the world. Thus there is a fundamental difference.

The phenomenal world, objective experience, other Seer, self, knower before one has obtained the power of control and consequently to banish the thoughts. This fact that Samadhi is deep sleep is kept secret because people would not be tempted to take up yoga.

What is the value of yoga?  It is only to sharpen the intellect, to enable it to keep away all extraneous thoughts when one gets out to reason in the practice of the next higher stage, i.e. Gnana.

Yoga is thus simply a sharpening-stone for the mindset to enable it to take up Gnana. Yogis claim that they live without thoughts but it is impossible to remain without the thoughts. How can yogi walk from one spot to another without thought? Yogis do not know the Gnanic truth because yogis think thoughtlessness is the perfect stage of ‘Self’.

What happens when thoughts are stilled? It is not the Self that is found. Rubbish. It is only the mind. Patanjali has not reached Gnana and therefore does not know the Advaitic truth. Patanjali yoga is good to give peace and concentration, but only in order to start reasoning, i.e. thinking again to find the truth.
If one thinks its mere disappearance in yogic Samadhi is the ultimate truth or Brahman, then he would get it in deep sleep.  Thus, the yogic Samadhi is not the Advaitic wisdom. Thoughtlessness is not Advaitic wisdom.

Remember:~
Thoughtlessness is not wisdom. The thinker & thought and the world are part of the illusion. The thought will not arise without the form, time and space. The form, time and space will not arise without the mind. The mind ceases to exist without the Soul which is in the form of the spirit. Therefore, there is a need to know the 'Self' is not limited to the physical entity (you), but it pervades in everything and everywhere in the experience of diversity (waking or dream).
The deep sleep is the state of thoughtlessness, silence, wordlessness, silence but it is not considered as a state of oneness because anyone can take a sleeping pill and will be able to get the state of Oneness.
Trying to imitate the state of oneness in duality by observing silence, thoughtlessness, wordlessness or by yogic Samadhi or surrendering to the physical Guru, the Advaitic wisdom will not dawn. Without the Advaitic wisdom, ignorance will not vanish. Thus, getting rid of ignorance through wisdom is the only way to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

It is not possible to stop the thoughts for more than a half-second whilst in the waking state. If one succeeds in controlling thought and then banishes it, one passes into Nirvikalpa samadhi, which is identical with deep sleep. The only difference between ordinary deep sleep and samadhi, therefore, is that the ordinary man falls asleep involuntarily whereas the yogi has the satisfaction of knowing that he has passed into sleep by his own effort of will in banishing thoughts.

The yogi is unaware of the truth, which is hidden by ignorance.

By shutting his eyes in Samadhi, the yogi does not know the universe, which confronts him. Hence the universe can't be known as the Soul or the consciousness through yoga.

There is need not to doubt that people saw Shiva, Jesus, etc. That they saw visions may be an undeniable fact. But the question is “Was what they saw the Truth?+

Mystics see Gods and Goddesses in their visions according to their own inherited religious conditioning and parental grooming.

The seeker of truth should not start with the idea of God.  The seeker does not know whether there is God or not. There is no proof.  The seeker needs proof of God's existence.

There is a need not to doubt that people saw Shiva, Jesus, etc. That they saw visions may be an undeniable fact. But the question is “Was what they saw the Truth?" They no doubt had a such vision but they never stopped to inquire if their visions are true.

After years of effort glorifying Christ when Christian closes his eyes and Christ comes to him.
After years of effort glorifying Krishna when a Hindu closes his eyes and Krishna comes to him.
After years of effort glorifying Buddha when a Buddhist closes his eyes and Buddha comes to him.
After years of effort glorifying  Mahavira when a Jain closes his eyes and Mahavira comes to him.
Christ doesn’t come as a Hindu; Mahavira doesn’t come to a Christian. Buddha doesn’t come to a Jain: only the image projected in the subconscious will come. The image became almost solid. It became so real from constant repetition, from continuous remembering, that it seemed projected deity was standing in from of him. No one was standing there.
Wherever is projected is merely an illusion created out of consciousness. Any experience is possible only within the domain of form, time, and space. Whatever belongs to the form, time and space is merely an illusion.  The illusion is created out of single stuff and that single stuff is the consciousness. The knowledge of the single stuff is Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
In reality, consciousness alone exists without the division of form, time, and space. There is no second here, no other. From the standpoint of the Soul, form, time and space are merely an illusion.  The seeker has to take all the facts, and then proceed to examine and analyze, how far is it true?”
To talk of seeking God is as meaningless as saying "seeking dog". It is only a hollow word. One must know God in truth.

Remember:~

Sage  Sankara: ~How do you know that God who tells about himself in meditation or mysticism is truthful? He may tell you a lie! His statements must, therefore, be tested.
Supposing a mystic has a vision, which experience is true, but he must prove that it is really what it purports to be and that he is not deluded.

Both real and unreal, seen and unseen, trance and activity are nothing but an illusion created out of consciousness, whereas mystics wrongly divorce one from the other. It is absurd to think that anything can be left out of consciousness.

In the Advaitic perspective, Anubava means the actual realization of the ‘Self’ hidden by the universe.  The experience implies duality. The experience, the experiencer, and the world are present in the domain of duality.

From the standpoint of the Soul, the Self, the experience, and the experiencer and the world are merely an illusion. When the Soul wakes up from the sleep of ignorance, it remains in its own awareness. In Self-awareness,  the experience, the experiencer, and the world are one in essence. Thus, there is unity in diversity.

The Soul, the Self cannot be experienced because it is ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.    The experience is possible only in the domain of form, time, and space.  Realizing the form, time and space leads to Self-awareness.  In Self-awareness, there is a oneness in the midst of the dualistic illusion or Maya.

How do the mystics know they have experienced God? There is proof they have seen God? Many mystics say they know it from experience but the experience implies duality.  The mystics' experience is dualistic but God is nondual because God is formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.  Mystics’ knowledge is based on the dualistic perspective whereas Gnanis' knowledge is based on the nondualistic perspective.

Mystics' approach is more practical, and they stuck with the reality of the world, they take it as real. That is why all the confusion.

The look of an object will depend upon the medium through which the observer views it. In fact, our mental and intellectual conditions determine the world, observed and experienced. The commoner viewing the world will see differently from a Gnani viewing the same world. Each one interprets the world that they see in terms of their existing knowledge. The commoner sees everything based on the ego, therefore, experiences birth, life, death, and the world as a reality, whereas a Gnani sees everything as consciousness and he is fully aware of the fact that, there is no second thing that exists other than the Soul or consciousness. Thus, all egocentric knowledge has to be bifurcated to realize the ultimate truth, which is hidden by the illusory form, time, and space.

The world in which we exist is nothing but an illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

The whole universe is nothing but the Soul. Therefore, there is no second thing that exists other than the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

It is not as if something that was not consciousness suddenly becomes consciousness. Rather, "knowing the truth” means the removal of ignorance about one's own existence as the consciousness. Thus, to "know the truth” is to "be the consciousness."
Consciousness is ever-present. Without consciousness, the world, in which you exist ceases to exist.   Consciousness is Self-evident. It is not established by extraneous proof. It is not possible to deny consciousness, because it is the very essence of the one who denies it. Consciousness is the basis of all kinds of knowledge, presuppositions, and proofs. Consciousness is everything. Consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman.
The Soul, the Self which is formless as the cloudless and stainless sky.  The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. Consciousness shines in everything and everywhere in the universe in which we exist.  The Soul is the cause of the illusory universe in which we exist and it, itself is uncaused.
Remember:~
A mystic can never make you know God. Only an intense urge to know what God is supposed to be in truth can make you realize God.  The Soul, the ‘Self is the Infinite God.
Bhagavad Gita: ~All those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires, they worship many Gods. (7- Verse -20)
Bhagavad Gita says: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).
When Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness.

Even Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God in truth) is in the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself.
The Vedas confirm God is Atman or Spirit, the  Self.

Yajurveda – chapter- 32:God is  Supreme Spirit has no ‘Pratima’ (idol) or material shape. God cannot be seen directly by anyone. God pervades all beings and all directions. Thus, Idolatry does not find any support from the Vedas.
Even Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman, the Self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)
Sage Sankara’s Supreme Brahman (God in truth) is impersonal, Nirguna (without Gunas or attributes), Nirakara (formless), Nirvisesha (without special characteristics), immutable, eternal, and Akarta (non-agent). It is above all needs and desires. It is always the Witnessing Subject. It can never become an object as it is beyond the reach of the senses. Brahman is non-dual, one without a second. It has no other besides it. It is destitute of difference, either external or internal. Brahman cannot be described, because description implies a distinction. Brahman cannot be distinguished from any other than It. In Brahman, there is not a distinction between substance and attribute. Sat-Chit-Ananda constitutes the very essence or Svarupa of Brahman, and not just Its attributes. The Nirguna Brahman of Sage Sankara is impersonal.

Advaita is the nature of the Soul, the Self. Advaita is the Soul itself. Advaita is the Soul, which is God in truth. Advaita is another word for God, which is second to none

Those who indulge in the perverted argument on their own standpoint and opinion are not seeking the truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.  They just want to exhibit their accumulated knowledge accumulated from here and there.  They think what they know is the ultimate truth.

Only Advaitic wisdom helps the seeker of truth on his journey to the ultimate realization of the Soul or  God in truth. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Real God is not religious God. Religious Gods are mythical Gods based on the belief. Belief based Gods are a myth.+

It is impossible to prove the existence of religious Gods by any reasoning other than religious propagated Gods of mythology.

Real God is not a religious God. Religious Gods are mythical Gods based on blind belief.  Gods based on blind belief are a myth.

Mythological stories are a myth. Whatever is based on myth is merely a superstition.  Mythology was introduced in the past for the ignorant masses. It has to be discarded as one progresses in his spiritual advancement.

Mythology breeds superstition, blind beliefsenseless rituals, and most irrational and gives them a divine outlook.

You can only say "I believe” but you cannot prove the existence of mythical Gods. People strongly believe and worship and pray to mystical Gods without knowing what God is supposed to be according to their own scriptures.

Remember:~
God is universal because God is impersonal. God does not belong to any religion because religious Gods are personal.
How can you see God without knowing what God is in actuality?  When the ‘Self is not you how can you find God within you? God is not within you. Those who say God is within you just propagating half-baked knowledge.

First, realize the ‘Self is not within you. You are bound by the experience of birth, life, death, and the world whereas the ‘Self is birthless and deathless because it is ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

You may believe in a position, but you are required to prove the truth of your belief. A belief is not the truth.  Truth is hidden by ignorance.  The ultimate truth itself is God. Self-knowledge is Knowledge of the Spirit or God in truth.
People think whatever they propagate is the ultimate truth. The question never occurs to them, “Is what I believe and worship as God really God in truth?
Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ "He who worships the deities as entities entirely separate from him does not know the truth. For the Gods, he is like a pasu (beast)". (1. 4. 10)
Bhagavad Gita: 7: 19:~ "Such a man who has attained Self-knowledge or the knowledge of Atman, worships ‘Self’ as~ Atman (God in truth) alone exists~ everything is Atman, there exists nothing except Atman. Such a man is extremely rare."
All is consciousness. The whole universe is consciousness. From consciousness, the universe comes. When the universe disappears, consciousness still remains without form, time, and space.

The Soul itself is God, the One without a Second:~

The Soul is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God. The Soul, God is present in the form of consciousness. Thus, consciousness itself is God in truth.
Religions place God as diverse ideas and beliefs.  Every religious believer has a different idea of God. Every man has a different idea of reality.

There is a need to accept and verify the facts about the religious Gods before accepting anything as God.  There is in religion the element of imagination and sentiments. The ordinary man is happy because religion gives him satisfaction, and pleases his taste.

Every sect and creed concocts a God to suit its own purposes. Belief in such concocted Gods is a great hindrance in the pursuit of truth.  The man himself suggests that there must be a God. It is an auto-suggestion. Belief in religion weakens as man pays more attention to the facts of his practical life within the practical world.

An honest seeker of truth says that he has not seen God. He does not know God's capacities, what God can do, and what God cannot do. Therefore any statement he might make about God would only be a lie.

The seeker of truth does not wish to tell a lie. Therefore, he does accept not God nor deny Him; he simply refuses to make any statement about God because he wants to discover what is supposed to be God.   Without verification,  he does not want to accept anything as truth.

Remember:~

Spirituality is a new religion. Advaita is pure spirituality. Advaita is truth beyond form, time, and space. Advaita is the Spirit.  The Spirit is the universal God and God of the whole of humanity.

Do not believe in God as a separate entity. Realize God is the cause of the existence of the universe in which we exist. God should not be worshipped but realized right in this very life, not in the next life or the next world.

Religious Gods are not God in truth. Bible says “God is a Spirit, and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. Rig Veda says may ye never accept another God in place of the Atman (Spirit) nor worship other than the Atman.
What is the use of arguing with religious believers?  They think of what they know as the ultimate truth.
Whatever is real in the world in which we exist is God. All that is real in the world in which we exist is the Soul, the Self.
Thus, by realizing the Self, which is the Soul, we discover the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness itself is God which is hidden by the ‘I’, which is the dualistic illusion.
Religion can never make you know God. Only an intense urge to know what God is supposed to be in truth can make you realize God.  The Soul, the ‘Self is the Infinite God.
Bhagavad Gita: ~ ‘All those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires, they worship many Gods. (7- Verse -20)
