Many People who are stuck with” WHO AM ‘I’? and ‘I AM THAT' teachings are unaware of the fact that, their journey is incomplete.+

Attachment to the Soul, the ’Self’, and detachment from the ‘I’’ (world) is the key to freedom and salvation. Everyone is attached to the 'I' without knowing what this ‘I’ is supposed to be in actuality.

The ‘I’ is not within your body.

The ‘Self’ is not you and the ‘Self’ is not within the physical body. The ‘Self is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness that pervades everything and everywhere in the illusory world in which you exist. If you hold the ‘Self’ as ‘I’ then you are misdirected.

Attachment to duality or 'I' leads to remaining in the hallucination of the cycle of birth, life, and death. And detachment from 'I' is the key to freedom from experiencing the dualistic illusion (world)  as a reality.

Consciousness is not limited to the waking entity and the waking world because it pervades all the three states.

Remember:~

By inquiring “WHO AM ‘I’?”, which is limited the waking entity will yield only half-truth,  because it exposed only the unreal nature of the form and fails to expose the unreality of the time and space.   Thus ‘WHO AM I?-inquiry will not yield full truth.
Without taking all the three states into account,    it is impossible to realize the ultimate truth of Brahman.

Many people who are stuck with” WHO AM ‘I’? and ‘I AM THAT' teachings are unaware of the fact that,  their journey is incomplete. ‘WHO AM ‘I’ and “I AM THAT’ are only stages, they have to go much beyond WHO AM ‘I’? and ‘I AM THAT'.

When the Self is not waking entity (ego)  and the waking experience is a false experience than what is the use of assuming the Self  ‘without the form without realizing what the Self  ‘is in actuality.

One has to realize the ‘Self’ is hidden by the illusory form, time, and space,  but the  Self is without the illusory form, time, and space.  The form, time and space are one,  in essence. That essence is consciousness.

From the standpoint of the  Soul, the Self’, the form, time and space are merely an illusion. Perfect understanding is needed to realize ‘what is what’ to know ‘what is truth ‘and ‘what is an illusion’. Simply intellectually speculating by saying ‘I AM THIS’ or ‘I AM THAT’ is not Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

Remember:~

The ‘I’ is present in the form of the mind. The mind is present in the form of the whole universe.

The universe appears as waking or dream (duality and disappears as deep sleep (nonduality).

The waking experience is a parallel dream and the dream is a parallel waking.

The 'I' appears as the mind is impermanent and unreal because it merely a dualistic illusion created out of the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness.

 Remember this:

Why the 'I', does not disappear even after inquiry, even if one knows intellectually 'I' am not the body?

If the 'I', is not the body, what is this ‘I’, without the body?

How can the ‘I’, remain as 'I', without the body?

Where 'I', disappeared in deep sleep?

What is it that knows the appearance and disappearance of the 'I'?

When the 'I' is impermanent, what is it that is permanent, which knows the appearance and disappearance of the 'I'?

How can one remain as 'I', when it is impermanent and the judge the eternal truth, which is not the 'I'?

Seeker of the truth must find what is eternal and impermanent to decide whether the 'I' or duality is permanent or the Soul, witness of the 'I', is permanent? to overcome the illusion and establish in the non- dualistic reality.

The words of wisdom are needed until one gets a firm conviction of ‘what is what’. People need reading and hearing the words of wisdom to think reason and reflect deeply and reach the ultimate end.

It takes time for the seeker to gain the perfect understanding of ‘what is truth’ and ‘’what is untruth’.

It takes time for the Soul, the innermost Self to wake up from the sleep of ignorance, and it takes time for one realizes the truth, which is hidden by ignorance.: ~ Santthosh Kumaar
