Sage Sankara is the father of the science because he is the first one to discover the mystery of the universe. Advaitic wisdom is the Science of the Spirit.+

Advaita is the rational truth and uncontradictable truth or scientific truth. This scientific truth of the mystery of the universe was declared by Sage Sankara 1200 years back and thought only to those of higher intellect who are receptive.

Sage  Sankara is the father of science because he is the first one to discover the mystery of the universe. Advaitic wisdom is not just a not a philosophy, but not a science, but the Science of Truth. Limiting Sage Sankara only to the religion is a Great error.

Religion and yoga have to be bifurcated in order to realize the Advaitic truth, which is the ultimate truth or Brahman.

Sage Sankara:~ VC "All this universe which through ignorance appears as of diverse forms, is nothing else but Brahman which is absolutely free from all the limitations of Maya(universe).

All the scientific inventions are based on the dualistic perspective whereas the ultimate truth of existence is based on the nondualistic perspective. Scientific inventions are limited to the domain of form, time, and space whereas the truth is formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

When the scientists and the world in which they exist and their inventions are created out of a single clay. And that single clay is the consciousness. Knowledge of the single clay is Advaita.

Thus Advaita is the rational truth, scientific truth, the ultimate truth, and universal truth cannot be contradicted. The Advaitic truth was declared by the Sage Scientist  Sankara 12oo years back.

One day the scientist also will confirm and declare that the universe is nothing but consciousness.

Remember:~

It is this Supreme Oneness which alone is real since there is nothing else but the ‘Self’. Verily, there remains no other independent entity in the state of realization of the highest Truth."

The battle is between scientific attitude and religious faith. The scientific Spirit requires that one has to accept nothing as truth unless it can be verified by experiment. Scientific inquiry is to disprove the hypothesis not buttress it. Science rewrites its textbooks all the time.

In stark contrast, religious texts are sacred; they are untenable. Science holds a hypothesis untrue if it does not satisfy even one out of a hundred conditions. For faithful belief is sanctified even if it comes true only once in a thousand times.

In the modern age, the proposition that science will replace faith has become an attractive one. Much that was a mystery earlier has now been rationalized through scientific discoveries. Inevitably many more mysteries of the present also will be explained in the years to come. But science has its limitations. For example, it can theories how the universe began with a Big Bang, but not explain what agency caused it. Scientific theories also are fickle. Science propagates knowledge; it does not necessarily confirm wisdom.

There is no scientific proof that God exists; neither is there any proof that God does not exist. That is where rational drift outside the scientific path. They make assertions matters of faith, forgetting their own principles. They can say at the most there is no proof of Gods existence. They cannot proceed further and assert that God does not exist because it is impossible to verify through scientific experiments.

The reality is that the mass believes in God's existence. The reality is ideas of God are many and lead to wars and terrorism. Admittedly, there is at any one time, far greater unanimity about scientific truths but those truths are merely hypotheses liable to be superseded in the future.

Rationalists are right in condemning superstition as dangerous and harmful. They overstep when assert science has the answers. As of today, it does not. Noting becomes a scientist more than humility. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
