The universe is verily consciousness. Without realizing this truth is impossible to get Self- realization.+

Advaitic wisdom does not come just by sitting quietly, observing silence, meditating, indulging in repeating mantras, indulging in rituals, worshipping non-Vedic gods reading books,  singing devotional songs, hearing sermons, meeting Gurus or yogis, and doing pranayama, but wisdom dawns only when you realize the fact that the ‘Self’ is not you, but the ‘Self’ is the formless Soul.

Sage Sankara says: ~ “When the whole universe, movable and immovable, is known to be Atman (Spirit), and thus the existence of everything else is negated, where is then any room to say that the body is Atman”.

Sage Sankara says: ~ V.63 ~ "Without knowing and examining the external world, one can’t know Truth, as the idea that the external world exists, won't go. It can go only by an inquiry into the nature of the external world.

The universe is verily consciousness. Without realizing ‘this truth is impossible to get Self- realization.  The universe is not different from the Mind because the universe itself is the mind.
The mind is not different from the Soul because the mind is the dualistic illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Thus, the universe is nothing but consciousness. The universe is unreal because it is not absolute and eternal like consciousness.

Sage Sankara says:  It is impossible for any human being to challenge successfully the Advaitic position.

All these experiences as a father, son, Guru, and pupil in the world in which they all exist were one and the same consciousness appearing differently. All these distinctions disappear when one realizes the ‘Self’ is not ‘I’ but the Soul. The Soul is the cause of this world in which we exist and it itself is uncaused.

Perfect understanding and realization of ‘what is what’ leads to Self-awareness. By holding on to theories one remains in the realm of duality. You have to mentally go on dropping what is not the truth through deeper Self-search.

Finally when you become aware of the fact that, your ego, your body, and the world are one in essence then there is Self-awareness in the midst of duality.

Realize ~ Your body and the world, in which you exist are made of the same stuff.

Realize ~The three states are made of the same stuff.

Realize ~ Duality is created out of nondual stuff.

Realize ~ There is no inside and outside.

Realize ~ Matter is nothing but Spirit.

Realize ~ There is no above or below.

Realize ~ The form; time and space are one in essence.

Realize ~ The ‘Soul' is neither the male nor the female.

Realize ~ The world in which you exist is not the world, but it is the Spirit.

Realize ~ The Soul, the ‘Self’ is not human but the Spirit.

Rest in Spirit by realizing the world in which you exist is nothing but the Spirit.

Sage Sankara does not believe in books. Sage Sankara denies the authority of any book over any other book. Sage Sankara denies emphatically any one book contains all the truths about Brahman or God, Soul, the ultimate reality.

It is impossible to realize the Self through bookish knowledge. A feeling of profound respect for the physical Guru is still more difficult to uphold. If you are seeking truth know must not cling to any physical Guru or his teaching.  : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
