A Gnani can point at the sky, but the seeing of the star is the seekers own work.+

From the Advaitic perspective, the ‘I’-centric’ knowledge is mental garbage.
If ‘I’ is present then only there is ignorance.
If ignorance is there then only there is duality.
If there is duality then only the mind is present.
If the mind is present then only form, time, and space are present.
If the form, time, and space are present then only the universe is present.
If the universe is present then only the waking is present.
If the waking is present then only the individual experience of the birth, life, death, and the world is experienced as a reality.
If the ‘I’ is absent then: ~
If ‘I’ is absent then only there is no ignorance.
If ignorance is absent then there is no duality.
If there is no duality then the mind is absent.
If the mind is absent then the form, time, and space are absent.
If the form, time, and space are present then only the universe is present.
If the universe is absent then the waking experience is absent.
If the waking is absent then only the individual experience of the birth, life, death, and the world is an illusion.
Without the illusion, the Soul, the Self alone prevails as the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.
Through Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana, the seeker will be able to mentally observe the Soul, the Self as it is in the midst of the dualistic illusion by realizing that form, time, and space are one in essence.
The 'Self' is not ‘I’ but the Self is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. The Soul witnesses the coming and going of the three states.

The seeker has to get a firm conviction that, the Self is definitely not the ‘I’ because the ‘I’ itself is an illusion. The Soul is the Self. The soul is present in the form of consciousness.
All accumulated knowledge is mental Garbage is no use in the quest for truth. The seeker has to discard all the accumulated knowledge and start afresh.
Perfect understanding of ‘what is what’ through deeper thinking and reasoning helps to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
The Advaitic truth is very simple but it is very difficult to grasp because of ignorance. You have to only realize the world in which you exist is created out of a single clay. And that single clay is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Thus you and your body and the world in which you exist are nothing but consciousness because they are merely an illusion created out of consciousness. A perfect understanding of ‘what is what’ is needed.

A Gnani can point at the sky, but the seeing of the star is the seeker's own work.

It is necessary to reflect on the same truth again and again till it becomes a reality. One needs to constantly reflect on the subject until he gets a firm conviction of what is what. Words are needed until one gets a firm conviction of ‘what is what’.

People need reading and hearing the words to think reason reflect deeply and reach the ultimate end.

The truth-seeker seeks only truth. The inner Sage will guide you with love. Your sincerity and seriousness lead you to your inner core.  Sincere and serious seekers are not excluded.
All the chosen ones will get freedom from experiencing the illusion (duality) as a reality.  All the seekers of truth are chosen ones.
Katha Upanishads: ~ This Atman is attained by him alone whom It chooses. To such a one Atman reveals Its own form. ( II -23-P-20)
All the chosen ones will get freedom from experiencing the illusion (duality) as a reality.  All the seekers of truth are chosen ones.
Millions are searching for truth, but one in a million will realize it.  If you are a truth seeker then you are, one from that million.
The consciousness is the formless substance and the witness of the three states.  The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness is without change, without any form, without any blemish, and without any decay, without the disease, beyond all comprehension, beyond any change and consciousness is all-pervading. :~ Santthosh Kumaar
